KAL provides Survey and Material Testing services including:

  • GPS and Total Station Surveys

    • Utilizing GPS and total station surveying instruments KAL performs engineering survey services. Whether you require topographic information or grade/alignment checks we have the resources to chart your environment.

  • Granular Compaction Control (Nuclear Densometer)

    • Compaction tests on granular fill material used to support structures are an essential component of quality assurance at the construction site. KAL uses nuclear densometers to provide rapid quality control checks on granular compaction in the field.

  • Certified Concrete Testing

    • Construction industry practice typically requires cast-in-place concrete to meet the standards set in CSA A23.1. Our techs are certified to field sample and test concrete in accordance with CSA A23.1.
